“就职典礼”英语怎么说

7月1日将迎来香港归国祖国10周年纪念日。届时，国家主席胡锦涛将赴香港出席庆祝香港回归祖国10周年大会暨香港特别行政区第三届政府就职典礼。

Hu will also preside over a swearing-in ceremony for the third-term Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (SAR) government.

报道中的“swearing-in ceremony”指的就是“（宣誓）就职典礼”。

“Swearing-in”（n. 宣誓就职）源自动词“to swear in”（使宣誓就职），如：be sworn in as Treasury Secretary（宣誓就职财政部长）。

相应的，“宣誓就职典礼”可表达为“a swearing-in ceremony”，而“宣誓就职演说”则可说成“a swearing-in speech”。
