　　A Plant Manager is showing some visitors around an electronic assembly plant that makes printed circuit boards. As you listen, match each object with the phrase describing its location. The first one has been done for you.
　　Listening task
　　Right. Basically there are three parts of the plant-the supply are, the assembly area and the despatch area.
　　So let’s start here in the supply area. The raw materials come by truck and are off-loaded onto a conveyor. The conveyor takes them into the supply room. As you can see, this room is divided into three storage areas. On the shelves we store the electronic components. Stacked up against the wall are the boards and between the boards and the shelves we store the chemicals used in the process.
　　Right, let’s go through into the assembly area. In this first part, the boards are cut into shape. There is one passing through the cutter now and then holes are drilled into the board... the boards come out of the drilling machine and then the components are inserted into the holes. If we go across to the other side, you’ll see the boards coming off a conveyor.
　　So the assembled boards then go into the despatch area, which is behind this door. The boards are sorted according to their type and size over here-on this big table. Then they are stacked in front of this table here. And finally they are packed in boxes ready for despatch.

　　Our visit to an Italian garment company left us a very deep impression. In the supply area we saw on the sheaves, materials of wool, silk, and cotton. In the designing department designers worked with computers.
　　The most interesting thing was, in the cutting department there was a tailor named Miss Rola, who worked twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week. She is a great tailor. Incredible? Of course, Miss Rola was a robot!
　　Many woman workers were busy in the sewing department. In the despatch area, finished garments were packed in boxes to be sent throughout Italy and to some other parts of the world.
