Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao smiles during an exclusive interview with Xinhua News Agency at Ziguangge building inside Zhongnanhai, an office compound of the Chinese central authorities at the heart of Beijing, capital of China, Dec. 27, 2009.
China will stick to the pro-active fiscal policy and moderately loose monetary policy to buoy the economy in 2010 as there are still many uncertainties ahead both at home and abroad, Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao said in an exclusive interview with Xinhua Sunday.
There were still many uncertainties in the global market, Wen said, adding it was still hard to avert the trend of falling global demand.
"Economies of some countries start to pick up, but fluctuations are still possible," Wen said.
"China’s economy has been on track of recovery," Wen said," however, the economic performance and operations of enterprises still need support from government’s policies".
The Chinese government kept the stance of maintaining stability and continuity of macro-economic policies
