当您启动 Windows Vista 时，可能会收到以下消息：
立即激活 Windows
您的激活期限已过，并且 Windows 不再工作。
要使用 Windows，您必须激活此 Windows 副本。
当出现此行为时，Windows Vista 将以缩减功能模式运行。当 Windows Vista 以缩减功能模式运行时，将不会显示任务栏。此外，您对 Windows Vista 程序和功能的访问将受到限制。
本文介绍如何在 Windows Vista 因激活期已过而以缩减功能模式运行时，安装 Windows Vista Service Pack 1 。安装 Windows Vista SP1 后，即可访问数据。
要在 Windows Vista 处于缩减功能模式时安装 Windows Vista SP1，请按照下列步骤操作。
重要说明：假如在 Windows Vista 处于缩减功能模式时安装 Windows Vista SP1，则无法卸载 Windows Vista SP1。
1.登录到基于 Windows Vista 的计算机。
2.在显示“症状”部分提到的消息后，请单击“访问功能减少的计算机”。
3.在 Internet Explorer 中，在“地址”栏中键入以下 URL 之一：

4.按照相应步骤下载并安装 Windows Vista SP1。
注重：安装 Windows Vista SP1 后，将要求您激活 Windows Vista。但是，对文件、数据和程序的访问不会受到限制。仅当激活期已过时才会出现此行为。假如发生任何其他非正版活动，则不会出现此行为。
