说明︰此句型意为“…是最不可能…”。the last 表示“最不可能…；绝不至于…”，它的后面有时有 <名词>.
I would be the last to attempt to answer the question.

He is the last person （that） I want to see.
他是我最不想要看到的人。
This is the last attempt （that） he would make.

superior/inferior to ……
结构︰superior/inferior to…
说明︰此句型意为“优于/劣于…”。这是不规则的<比较><句型>，其后跟 to 代替 than，其它还有“prefer… to…（喜爱…甚于…）”，“senior to ……（年长的）”，“junior to ……（年少的）”等。
I prefer tea to coffee.
